Political transition in Czechoslovakia and in the Czech Republic, 1989-1997. A historical analysis

Project goals

The project involves a historical analysis of the first phase of the Czechoslovak and Czech Republic's transition to democracy (1989-1997), using new resources and reflecting the existing research results achieved by history, political science, sociology, and other social sciences.The project's outputs shall include a collective monograph employing three different perspectives of the period: the political system, the political thought, and the foreign-policy dimension of the transition process.
