Theory of Mixed Building Techniologies

Project goals

A principle of proposed plan is a research of modern bearing structures using new materials, structural members and building technologies. Ambitious long-term theoretical and experimental projects related to modern bearing structures are performed by anapplicant. They are concerned on different material bases (metals, timber, glass and composites), questions of materials behaviour, reliability of structures with respect to loading capacity, serviceability, durability, ecology, including fire and corrosion resistance etc. Scientific proposal of the project is to group individual activities of PhD. students and leaders to create general team solving particular goals by wider point of view based on mutual cooperation. General cooperation in solving of complex analytical and numerical problems, usage of results of expensive experiments, usage of sophisticated software and collective publication of research results are supposed in the project. It will be taken an advantage of each individual researcher'sexperience acquired at interships and other professional activities.
