    Quantum Sensing with Spectrometers Based on Advanced Time-Stamping Single-Photon Imaging Cameras

    This project aims to establish a transformative quantum sensing platform combining quantum photon sources, ultrafast time-stamping imaging sensors, and advanced spectrometers utilizing state-of-the-art single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) detectors. Exploiting quantum correlations and cutting-edge detector technology, our approach targets unprecedented temporal (tens-of-picoseconds) and spectral (tens-of-picometers) resolution. We will optimize SPAD designs and integrate microlenses to drastically reduce dark count rates, enhancing photon sensitivity. Validating quantum enhancements in real-world sensing applications, the Czech–Swiss collaboration promises groundbreaking advancements in quantum imaging and metrology.
