Magnetic and electrical properties of 3d metal-based nanocomposite films

Project goals

The project is devoted to production and investigation of 3d metal-based nanocomposite films for potential use in high frequency and computer technologies. Nanocomposite 3d metal-based oxide or nitride films will be prepared by plasma techniques. The aimof the project is to develop new soft magnetic materials with high electrical resistivity and high magnetic permeability up to GHz frequencies. High chemical reactivity of plasma will be utilized for the production of new compounds and metastable phases.The structure, chemical, electrical and magnetic properties of the films will be investigated.

Nanokompozitní oxidy a nitridy na bázi 3d kovů budou připravovány technologií nízkotlaké plazmové trysky.Cílem práce je vyvinout nové magneticky měkké materiály z vysokým elektrickým odporem a vysokou magnetickou permeabilitou do frekvence několika GHz.
