    Příprava a studium transgenních rostlin s cílem indukovat a zvýšit rhizoremediaci polychlorovaných bifenylů

    Vývoj invenčních remediačních metod pro dekontaminaci míst kontaminovaných organickými polutantyje velmi důležité. Jednou z používaných metod je biologická metoda spojující tzv. fytoremediaci a rhizoremediaci. Fytoremediace využívá zelené rostliny pro přenos, akumulaci a odstraňování polutantů z životního prostředí, při které dochází ke spolupráci s rhizosferními mikroorganismy - rhizoremediací. Cílem tohoto grantu bude příprava transgenních rostlin se zvýšenými schopnostmi podpořit rhizoremediaci polychlorovaných bifenylů. Úkolem bude příprava geneticky modifikovaných rostlin s rostlinným genem NtF3H kódujícím flavonoid-3-hydroxylasu (F3H), která katalyzuje přeměnu kaempferolu na quercetin - rostlinný sekundární metabolit. Připravené rostliny nadměrněexprimující F3H a produkující tak více quercetinu by indukovaly degradační dráhu bifenylu v rhizosferních bakteriích.

    According to results described, plants transformed with gene for flavonoid-3-hydroxylase were obtained. Such plants induce degration pathway of bifenyl involving rhizobacteria.These results were, however, not published. One methodological publication with impact factor on a different issue than the subject of this research was released, and eight conference papers.
