Rezonance, zemské gravitační pole a altimetrie s daty mise CHAMP
Annotation in Czech
CHAMP is a German satellite launched to study gravity and magnetic fields of the Earth, working since 2000. We had an opportunity to participate on the mission preparation and on use some of its data. The data are valuable, among others, for the Earth'sgravity field refinement. It is possible to revive traditional analytical approach to study the resonances, to derive lumped coefficients from long-term evolution of some of orbital elements and to compare the results with the lumped coefficients derivedfrom global gravity models. We have worked out a method to assess the accuracy of the Earth models by satellite altimetry data and a software for application for any new model. A cooperation with NOAA, USA, is fundamental in this respect, because they provide the long-term averaged single-satellite crossovers. We also would like to study the concept of reflecting (bistatic) satellite altimetry (a technology experiment) on CHAMP.

Project results evaluation
CHAMP precise orbits were analyzed at resonances with unprecendented precision. Geometry and accuracy of reflecting altimetry GPS-CHAMP has been studied. A degradation of accuracy of Earth´s gravity variation solutions from GRACE has been explained.
