Influence of cytokines produced by TH1 and TH2 lymphocytes subpopulations on the development of endocrine autoimmune diseases
Project goals
Function Th1 and Th2 lymphocytes from normal or diseased individuals will be tested in tissue cultures or in non-reactive SCID mice. Influence of Th1 and Th2 lymphokines will be examined on progression or healing of transplanted endocrine tissues.
