    Nanostruktury na bázi uhlíku a polymerů pro využití v bioelektronice a v medicíně

    Cílem Projektu je příprava a charakterizace perspektivních nanostrukturovaných materiálů (zejména na bázi allotropů uhlíku a syntetických polymerů) vykazujících význačné biologické a jiné (elektrické, optické ap.) vlastnosti, které by mohly být využity vinterakcích s biologickými systémy. Připravené kompozitní materiály (vytvořené na bázi fullerenů a kovů, uhlíku a polymerů, modifikovaných nanokrystalických diamantů, vícefunkčních karboranů, leptaných iontových stop a vzniklé implantací iontů resp. ozářením ionty) budou zkoumány z hlediska biokompatibility, adheze a růstu buněk a jiných bioaplikacích. Dalším cílem Projektu je připravit a demonstrovat aktivní hybridní systém založený na propojení buňky (resp. biomolekuly) s mikroelektronickou součástkou s rozhraním tvořeným tenkou vrstvou modifikovaného nanokrystalického diamantu.
