Project of the Centre for heavy ion physics contributed to improved presence of Czech scientist in the heavy ion physics community. Project stabilized team of young scientist and students. Project significantly contributed to creation and stabilization of the research environment for studies of extreme states of the nuclear matter during the heavy ion collisions at high energies.
