Project goals

Continue in the processing and physical analysis of the data obtained in experiment D0 in Fermilab and Observatories Pierre Auger in Argentina and HESS in Namibia. Complete the processing of data from experiment H1 at DESY and within the international collaboration further participate in the development of a new generation of detectors for the International Linear Collider Project ILC. Actively participate in the processing and physical analysis of the first data taken by the experiment ATLAS at the LHCaccelerator at CERN, which started operation in November and look afer the reliable operation of the detectors which have been developer in the Centre. Develop new theoretical methods beyond the Standard model of the structure and laws of the microworld. Disseminate the newly acquired knowledge in the public.

    Pokračovat ve zpracování a fyzikální analýze dat z experimentu D0 ve Femilab a observatoří Pierra Augera v Argentině a HESS v Namíbii. Dokončit zpracování dat z experimentu H1 v DESY a v rámci mezinárodních kolaborací pokračovat ve vývoji nové generace detektorů pro projekt Mezinárodního lineárního urychlovače ILC. Intenzivně se zapojit do zpracování a fyzikální analýzy prvních dat z experimentu ATLAS na urychlovači LHC v CERN, jenž byl koncem listopadu 2009 uveden do provozu a zabezpečovat bezchybnou činnost detektorů, které jsme v Centru pro tento experiment vyvinuli a za jejichž chod odpovídáme. Rozvíjet nové teoretické metody rozšiřující standardní model struktury a zákonitostí mikrosvěta. Nové poznatky sdělovat široké veřejnosti.

    The project made possible the fully-fledged involvement in four international particle physics experiments: H1 at DESY in Hamburg, D0 at FERMILAB near Chicago, ATLAS at CERN in Geneva and Pierre Auger Observatory in Argentina. These experiments have brought significant new knowledge on the fundamental laws of the microworld and further such results can be expected in the near future.
