Project results evaluation
It was found out that the Czech isolates of P. cactorum were relatively uniform and different from the european ones. The pathogen was isolated only from high invasible stands in the area and not from natural stands. The substrate specificity was low. Likely, the population has originated from one colonisation wave and probably undergoes a relatively early phase of invasion.
