Smyslem projektu je ukázat, že projektovaná preferenčních opatření zásadním způsobem ovlivňují bezpečnost a plynulost dopravy. Studie se zaměří na sledování vývoje nehodovosti v blízkosti podélných dělících prahů, tzv. bumlíků a bude se snažit identifikovat konkrétní dopady (jak pozitivní, tak negativní) silniční provoz.

Project results evaluation

Transport Research Centre finalised the research project Public Transport Priority. The main outcome of this project is Guidelines for priority implementation, certified by the Czech Ministry of Transport. The aim of these guidelines is to provide public transport operators and organisers, transport authorities and other specialists with comprehensive overview of potential priority measures, their advantages and benefits and possible risks. The project results have presented at professional conferences in the Czech and Slovak Republics. Guidelines will be distributed to main users in hard copy format; for general public will be available for download in electronic format on the CDV and other specialised websites.
