Project results evaluation
The intention of the project, preparation and characterization of the elicitors from phytopathogenic fungi Leptosphaeria maculans and Alternaria sp. was accomplished. The active fractions purified from mycelia extracts and cultivation media effectively enhanced resistance to the infection of oilseed rape (Brassica napus) and Arabidopsis plants and induced transcription of defense genes significant for salicylic and ethylene pathways.
