  • Project results evaluation

    The effect of mitochondrial stimulans L-carnitine on maturation and fertilization of oocytes and in vitro embryo development was defined in cattle and pigs. Impact of L-carnitine on embryo production depended on meiotic competence of oocytes and was associated with gene expression modulation in embryos. The importance of oocyte energy reserves for embryo development was confirmed and modified bovine oocyte maturation for reproductive biotechnology was developed.
