    Distinkt NRT1.1 protein localization of both mutated forms was observed and the changes on the level of auxin transport were monitored in the lines with disrupted nitrate transport thus pointing at the regulation mechanism of auxin vs. nitrate transport. Modeling of IC50 for auxinic herbicides together with cheminformatic analysis showed that the herbicide mode of action is probably independent on AUX1 activity.
