Project results evaluation
Occurrence of Ambrosia artemisiifoli in CR has been increasing. Its distribution is shaped mainly by proportional area of industrial, commercial and transport units, human-related dispersal and climate. The prediction model indicated that many suitable areas are not occupied yet and further spread is thus highly probable. It may be slow down by sowing strong native competitors. However, their competitiveness decreases with increasing temperature.
