The ALICE project deals with the development of a new generation warning and monitoring system used for water management optimization in agriculture and / or drinking water distribution. The ALICE system works by recording signals from a number of points of measurement - sensors - located Within the site of interest, and further by transmitting these signals by radio to a pre-processing node and subsequently, over the Internet, to a central database. The pilot application was developed in Argentina, San Juan and the Protected Landscape Park of Litovelské Pomoravi, Czech Republic.
