Cílem projektu je posílení role České republiky v rámci Evropské biotechnologické federace spolu s její rolí v procesu utváření strategie vývoje evropské vědecko-výzkumné a zemědělské politiky a bio-ekonomiky. Projekt přispěje k intenzivnějšímu zapojení českých vědeckých týmů do mezinárodních výzkumných programů a zlepší podmínky pro realizaci produktů duševního a průmyslového vlastnictví u nadnárodních společností. Značný podíl aktivit projektu tvoří informační a organizační činnost orientovaná na představitele vědecké obce (součinnost na organizaci Evropského biotechnologického kongresu) a vzdělávací činnost v oblasti biotechnologií směrem k široké veřejnosti.

Project results evaluation
Center of the region Haná has successfully completed implementation of the project “Representation of the Czech Republic in the Executive Board of the European Federation of Biotechnology” (the MEYS programme LG INGO II), which has strengthened its position and the position of Czech biotechnological research in the European context. Over the course of two years, all the goals have been achieved; CRH actively participated in the EFB's activities and its representatives participated in the meetings of the EFB Executive Board and in the European Congress of Biotechnology 2016 in Krakow. CRH also organized the Green for Good IV conference in Olomouc in June 2017, where experts from more than 20 countries talked about new trends in plant biotechnology.
