  • Project results evaluation

Based on studies on experimental models of human pancreatic adenocarcinoma, apparent antitumor effects od edible alga Spirulina platensis and its tetrapyrrolic compounds, such as fycocyanobilin, fycobiliproteins and chlorophyls have been proved. Molecular mechanisms responsible for these effects have been investigated and partially elucidated. Results were published in peer-reviewed journals.
