Project results evaluation
The project was set to determine antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiproliferative activity of Myrica rubra leaves. M. rubra is used in Chinese traditional medicine. We identified a potential group of compounds with selective inhibition to cyclooxygenase-2 and a group of compounds inhibiting proliferation of human adenocarcinoma cell lines.
