    The yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae was due to the asymmetrical cell division used as model for study of aging with relation to mitochondria activity and morphology. Cell size differentiated culture was stratified to subpopulation and characterized regarding to trehalose content. We showed that the mitochondrial morphology together with respiration activity is chronologically time dependent modus.
