Výzkumný tým vyvinul nové experimentální uspořádání pro identifikaci produktů síťovaných reakcí nazvané Data-DIA-CXMS (Data-Independent Analysis of Cross-Links by Mass Spectrometry). Pomocí technik fluorescenční anizotropie, vodík-deuteriové výměny, kvantitativního chemického zesítění, iontové mobility a homologního modelování byl charakterizován komplex transkripčního faktoru TEAD1 s motivy MCAT.
