Generalized Image Retrieval and Relation Discovery
Project goals
"Realization of an edge cutting research in the area of computer vision. In the project, we will generalize the retrieval of related images beyond search of visually similar images. We will study various definitions of relatedness, investigate algorithms for efficient search, and derive novel representations that support search and discovery of related images. An evidence of relatedness in the form of a set or a sequence of images has to be retrieved together with the related image in order to provide and verify the answer."

"Realizace projektu hraničního výzkumu v oblasti strojového vidění. V tomto projektu budeme generalizovat vyhledávání souvisejících obrázků mimo vyhledávání vizuálně podobných obrázků. Budeme studovat různé definice souvisejících obrázků, algoritmy pro jejich efektivní vyhledávání, dále vytvoříme nové typy reprezentací obrázků, které umožní vyhledávání a objevování souvisejících obrázků. Důkaz souvislosti obrázků ve formě množiny či posloupnosti bude nalezena spolu se souvisejícími obrázky, aby bylo možné tyto výsledky ověřit."
