    The project LO1412-Development of the West Bohemian Material Metallurgical Center finished after 5 years on 2019. The project was investigated within the National Sustainability Program (NPUI) of MEYS. The beneficiary was COMTES FHT a.s. The aim was to create conditions for the sustainable development of the WBMMC research infrastructure, stabilize the research team and support social development, economic prosperity of the Pilsen Region and the competitiveness of the Czech research; consistently create and apply high-quality R&D results; effectively operate the built Center. During the project 6 patents, 25 applied research results arose and 104 papers in scientific journals were published. The quality expert team was stabilized, conditions for professional growth were established. The team was extended by 24 graduates from Czech and foreign universities, the members of the scientific team attended many scientific conferences, which also increased the prestige of the Center.
