Alternative language

  • Project name in Czech

Vývoj technologie pro časnou detekci klíšťové encefalitidy založené na změnách v genové expresi a produkci proteinů u antigen-prezentujících buněk

  • Annotation in Czech

V rámci projektu bude diferencovaná genová exprese a tvorba proteinů analyzována v buňkách prezentujících antigen během infekce virem klíšťové encefalitidy. Diferenciálně exprimované geny a proteiny budou použity pro identifikaci infekce hostitele v časné fázi. Identifikovaný marker bude sloužit k nové možnosti diagnostiky klíšťové encefalitidy u lidí.

"Primary immune cells, which get into a contact with the tick-borne encephalitis virus in humans, were prepared – M2 macrophages and Langerhans cells. We described the infection of these cells by the virus and performed proteomic and transcriptomic analyses of these cells as well as infected cells. Identified were several candidates for markers of early infection by the virus."
