    The aim of the project is the application of the "single-cell sequencing" method to evaluate the phylogenetic position of non-culturable cyanobacteria. In total, three new genera of cyanonacteria (Thainema, Tenebriella, Funisicutus), and 8 new species (Thainema salinarum, Oculetella lusitanice, Tenbriella amphibia, T. curviceps, Funisicutus florentinus,Kovacikia atmophytica, Albertania obscuria, Pegethrix atlantica) were described within the project and the phylogenetic position of the genus Microcrocis was clarified. For studies have been published in international journals, two others are under review and one study is in preparation.
