"During the project implementation, we found that the host diet composition affects the condition of the therapeutic helminth, its immunomodulatory capabilities and also the diversity of the small intestine bacteriome. These findings were confirmed by morphological methods, next generation sequencing analyses of the bacteriome, and expression analyzes of the host immune markers and helminth genes."
