Project results evaluation
The project investigated the activities of the SMC5/6 complex and its contribution to chromatin maintenance (Kolesár et al., Cells, 2022). The role of interaction partners on the localization of the SMC5/6 complex into specific chromatin parts was found (Mahrik et al., Epigen and Chromatin, 2023). We also designed and implemented web tool for chromatin filament visualization. International cooperation within the COST action contributed to the results.
