Reactor neutrino experiments Daya Bay and JUNO
Project goals
Aim of the project is a support of a team of scientists and students who will investigate reactor neutrino oscillations in the experiments Daya Bay and JUNO. The team will take part in running of the Daya Bay experiment and will contribute to analysis of the data. The team will work on preparation of JUNO physics program, development of the Muon Detector Calibration System and on construction of Photomultipliers System of the JUNO detector as well as on commissioning and running of the experiment.

Project results evaluation
The team members took part in data taking of the Daya Bay experiment until the end of running in 2020. They analyzed the collected data in a frame of the collaboration. As a result 16 collaboration papers are published in scientific journals, 2 papers are in ArXiv and 9 contributions of the team members were on conferences. The team investigated liquid scintillator properties in a frame of JUNO experiment. The team performed measurement of scintillator light yield nonlinearity with use of Compton scattering and scintillator element composition using chromatographic method. Team made studies of detection of neutrinos from Earth and from supernova. Results from the measurements as well as from the studies were presented on the collaboration meetings. System of LED flashers for calibration of PMTs in Cerenkov muon detector of thr erperiment JUNO was developped.
