Mass of the neutrino, the most numerous massive particle in the Universe, is poorly known in spite of the large effort of scientists. Experiment KATRIN in Karlsruhe, with the scientists from NPI of CAS, entered into the 2nd half of 5 year measurement with the aim to improve the sensitivity on neutrino mass ten times. The combination of the first two measurements established the neutrino mas to be less than 0.8 eV, representing 2.5 times improvement of the current ancient limit.
