Projekt má podpořit účast českého zástupce ve výkonném výboru celosvětové Mezinárodní federace mikroskopických společností (International Federation of Societies for Microscopy - IFSM). Zejména se jedná o pokrytí cestovních výdajů souvisejících s účastí na zasedáních tohoto orgánu. Mezinárodní federace mikroskopických společností se skládá z mikroskopických společností po celém světě a jejím cílem je přispívat k pokroku mikroskopie ve všech ohledech. Federace se soustředí na podporu série významných kongresů v oblasti mikroskopie, kterým je Mezinárodní mikroskopický kongres (International Microscopy Congress), který se koná každé čtyři roky. Federace také aktivně podporuje účast mladých vědců na těchto kongresech. Projekt tak přispěje k aktivnímu zapojení českého zástupce v tomto orgánu, k propagaci české mikroskopie a její prestiže v mezinárodní mikroskopické komunitě a k dosažení lepšího propojení české a zahraniční vědecké komunity.

Project results evaluation
The aim of the project was to support the participation of the Czech representative in the steering committee of the International Federation of Societies for Microscopy. Unfortunately, during the implementation of the project, the achievement of the project objectives was complicated by the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. Therefore, most of the planned IFSM activities had to be postponed to the following years 2022 and 2023 or were held online. One specific goal achieved was the participation of prof. At the first meeting of the IFSM 2020 Executive Committee in Hyderabad, India, as part of the "12th Asia Pacific Microscopy Conference" organized by the Indian Electronic Society (EMSI) on 3-7 February 2020, as well as prof. Hozak’s participation in 2 online IFSM meetings. Results No. V003 and V006 were implemented by disseminating information about the IFSM plans for following years among CSMS and Euro-BioImaging members by prof. Hozák as well as a draft of a new IFSM website.
