Celobuněčné optické sensory ? WOCOS

Cílem práce jsou nové celobuněčné optické senzory. Vize tohoto projektu je vláknový optický senzor pro kontinuální monitorování znečištění ve vzdálených a těžko přístupných místech, který bude využívat jak chemické převodníky tak imobilizované mikroorganismy. Senzor by měl sloužit ke včasné detekci toxického znečištění a biologické dostupnosti kontaminantů, které mohou být biologicky odbourány. Tento projekt, WOCOS, úzce souvisí s projektem MOREPIM.

Novel optical fibre sensors with genetically engineered cells producing bioluminiscence selectively in presence of naphtalene and salicylate (Ps. fluorescens HK44) and BTEX (Ps. Putida TVA8) were prepared and tested.
