The sound theory explaining onset of unwanted die drool phenomenon together with important critical parameters driving its intensity has been found. Obtained know-how can be directly applied for polymer extrusion technology, especially in area of die design, stable processing window definition and polymer systems preparation with respect to die drool minimization.
