    Kinetics and equilibria in biologically significant reaction of o-phthalaldehyde with ammonia, amines and thiols, aminoacids and oligopeptides were investigated electrochemically and spectrometrically. As model compounds for intramolecular interactions substituted calixarenes, carboranes and nitroolephines were used. Characterized and corresponding mechanisms were formulated.
