Project results evaluation
Project dealt with magnetic clouds, closed plasma loops ejected from the solar corona during eruptions. We improved magnetic cloud models incorporating their expansion and curvature. They yield a better agreement with observations. A simulation model wascreated for cloud propagation in the interplanetary space to help space weather forecast, it was tested on real events.
