Project results evaluation
A series of novel organomodified clays such as intercalated Cloisite and Nanocor with synthesized alkylammonium salts were successfully prepared. The effect of the organoclay structure on high solid content polymer/nanoclay latexes synthesized by in-situemulsion polymerization was evaluated. The permeabilities of the prepared nanocomposite membranes were characterized.
