The project Kontakt of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports supported a four-year intense collaboration in the field of astrophysics, carried out between research teams at the Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic andMassachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, USA). We published a number of research articles in science journals describing our research.
