Effect of biological active substances extracted from plants of the Eurasian area on model species of pathogenic and toxinogenic fungi
Project goals
The project explores efficiency of plant extracts extracted from wild-growing Euroasian area plants against significant pathogenic and toxinogenic fungal species. The aim of the research is to obtain new information on biological activity of the extractsand their efficient substances, to establish the ground for manufacture of new, enviromentally safe preparations for plant protection. The main goal of the project is to find new extracts which provide high biological efficiency against fungal pathogenic and toxinogenic species suitable for manufacture of the plant fungicide and verify the new knowledge under practice simulating conditions in order to check efficiency of a potential product.

Project results evaluation
In the 2012 the last partial goal V3 was processed according to project proposal. The experiments of practical utilization of the extracts were realized and evaluated on the base of superior results of the previous partial goals. One potential preparation was designed. Two scientific paper were published. Two more results are subjects of intellectual property protection. More results are prepared.
