    Flight activity of Ips cembrae lasts from April to August. Beetles overwinter both in phloem and the ground. They are attacted on trap tree, there are not differences on stem. Dispensers Cembrodor and Cembrawit are effective, the necessary number of traps is ten per locality. There is no specific pathogen.
