Conductive properties of discotic liquid crystalline materials doped by photochromic additives

Project goals

The aim of the project is the theoretical description of the charge carrier transport in the stacked discotic materials and comparison of the obtained results with available experimental data. Special attention will be paid to the evaluation of the possibilities of photo-induced modulation of the charge carrier transport by means of polar photochromic additives.
