The south-western part of the Bohemian Massif is characterized by numerous two-mica granite intrusions, interspersed with large amounts of LP-HT anatectic rocks. The mid-crustal anatexis and granitic plutonism may have developed in response to post-collisional delamination of lithospheric mantle, which was component of the Bavarian phase of the Variscan orogenesis.
