Optical chemical sensors

Project goals

Preparation sensitive elements (films) of optical oxygen sensors with metal complexes immobilized into organic-inorganic polymer ORMOCER. Tests of their oxygen sensitivity and stability in laboratory bioreactor. Preparation sensitive elements of opticalbiosensors with sensitive element that combine optical oxygen sensor with enzyme oxidase. At first sensors of glucose and alcohol will be tested in laboratory bioreactor. After verification of sensitivity and reliability of these sensors, the sensors ofbiogenic amines will be prepared by the identical technique. The application of prepared sensitive films in the packing of poultry meat and evaluation of their utility for control of freshness of packed meat will be done in cooperation with University Maribor.

    Příprava citlivých vrstev optických senzorů kyslíku imobilizací kovových komplexů do vrstvy organicko-anorganického polymeru ORMOCER. Testování jejich citlivosti na kyslík a stability v laboratorním bioreaktoru při fermentacích mikroorganismů. Příprava citlivých vrstev optických biosenzoru s citlivou vrstvu kombinující optický kyslíkový senzor s enzymem oxidasou. V laboratorním reaktoru budou testovány nejprve senzory glukosy a alkoholu. Po ověření citlivosti a stability těchto senzorů při fermentacíchbudou stejným postupem připraveny a testovány senzory biogenních aminů. Ve spolupráci s UM provést aplikaci připravených citlivých vrstev na obal drůbežího masa a zhodnocení jejich praktické použitelnosti pro kontrolu čerstvosti baleného masa.

    Novel pH sensitive materials were synthetised for construction of pH optical absorption sensors. The film, which was sensitive to putrescine, was prepared via immobilization of seleable aminoaoxidase on oxygen optode MATINOES.
