Cardiovascular risk factors in diabeted type 2 and quality of intervention and prevention of atherosclerotic complications

Project goals

Estimating of the prevalence of asymptomatic and symptomatic cardiovascular diseases in an unselected clinical series of diabetes type 2 pacients submitted to a managed care in 2nd Dpt. of Int. Medcine in University Hospital in Plzen. Estimating the relative impact of metabolic and hemodynamic parameters on tehe development of atherotrombolic and other complications. Estimating the quality of care and control of cardiovascular risk factors in the respective series.
