    Out of 538 HIV + patiens had 33% GBV-C viremia with the most frequent genotype being 2a. The influence of GBV-C coinfection on HIV viremia, CD4 count and quality of life, even when each of the specific GBV-C genotypes are consideres was not confirmed.
