  • Project results evaluation

New chemoenzymatic method for separation of optically pure silybins and isosiiybins was developed. New enzymatic method for isoquercitrin preparation using fungal a-L-rhamnosidase was developed. Mechanism of antioxidative activity of silybin was elucidated by the isolation of the products of the oxidative attack - dimers. This mechanism was corroborated by molecular modeling.
