    We tested the relationships between the Growing season index (GSI) and vegetation indices computed from continuous spectroradiometric measurements and between the iGSIo and C02 fluxes observed with the eddy covariance technique. A strong relationship wasfound between the iGSlo and (i) the Normalised Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and (ii) the net ecosystem carbon exchange (NEE).
