Project results evaluation
Achieved goal of project was manufacturing highly nonlinear optical components from microstructural fibers and highly nonlinear materials. New microstructural optical fibers has been made with 1000x higher nonlinear effect and As2Se3 modules with 10.000xhigher nonlinear effect. Nonlinear modules are suitable for optical signal regeneration, wavelength conversion and optical switching.
