    The EUREKA Project OE09017 VENUS was dealing with R&D of the new technology aimed to combine detection and identification of explosive and radioactive agents in traces volume into one, very portable instrument, working simultaneously. The application canbe found in all the security fields, where so called "dirty bombs" or other combined radioactive/explosive security thread could be expected.
