Development of the modular system for application in the Integrated Water Management practices and floods prevention, organization of the national/international eGMS database.

Project goals

The main objective of eGMS project is to develop the software tool for Geophysical Inspection of Embankments, accompanied by the eGMS database, that will provide the following chain of activities: Reading of measured data directly from measuring instruments, Connection of measurements into GPS and S/JTS coordinates, Resulting automatic and interactive assessment, Complementation with documentary photographs, Drawing of outputs into map documents, eGMS database development, organization and future strategy, Including the results into the database of the user (upon request) Connection of the outputs with standard geodetical program, Connection of respective workers of the user to visualization interface including remote access, International utilizationif required (linear flooding embankments in the catchment scale, costal embankments). For the measurements, the Geophysical Monitoring System (GMS) will be used.
