DIGIBOJ - Integration of combat support to the digitized battlefield - 4D
Project goals
The basic aim of the research is the analysis of the work of the commanders, staffs, as well as the warriors on the battlefield, which will contribute to the solution of the gradual integration of tha combat units, combat support elements and logisticalsupport to the digitalized battlefield 4D (DB4D), so that these elements were mutually fully interoperable with C4ISR/FSS systems and OTS PozS/VzS including the SW design and modification of C4ISR/FSS systems for use in the training troops, preparation process and peace time. Part of the solution will be the sample cores (HW/SW) system DB4D with purpose to unify a wide range of elements of the combat operations, combat support and logistical support to the integrated army system, without the need for significant architectural or structural interventions in the current system.

Základním cílem výzkumu je analýza práce orgánů velení (velitelů a štábů) i příslušníků jednotek na bojišti, která přispěje k řešení postupné integrace bojových jednotek, prvků bojové podpory a zabezpečení boje (včetně logistické podpory) do systému digitalizovaného bojiště 4D (DB4D), tak, aby tyto prvky byly vzájemně plně interoperabilní se systémy C4ISR/V21 a OTS PozS/VzS včetně návrhu a modifikace SW systémů C4ISR/V21 pro široké využití v procesu výcviku, přípravy vojsk a mírového života. Součástí řešení bude návrh funkčního vzorku jádra (HW/SW) systému DB4D umožňujícícho sjednotit široké spektrum prvků bojové činnosti, bojové podpory a logistické podpory do integrovaného armádního systému, bez nutnosti zásadních architektonických nebo konstrukčníchzásahů do současného systému.

Project results evaluation
The planned tasks in terms of the project objectives were met completely. The result of the defence research project „Integration of the combat support elements into the system of digitalized battlefield“ , in abbreviated form „DIGIBOJ“, are „Analytical study DIGIBOJ“, which is the analytical study of the integration of the combat support elements into the system of digitalized battlefield 4D, and „Software of system core DB4D“ verified by the functional sample of system core DB4D. Both results were transmitted to the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic.
